If any graduate students are looking for an excellent ongoing opportunity for networking and collaborative work, the HASTAC Scholars program is currently accepting applications for their 2018-2020 cohort.
This initiative created by the Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Alliance and Collaboratory (HASTAC), is built upon a community of emergent graduate and some undergraduate students involved in the digital humanities. Although I was involved in several events and discussions through this program, I have to admit I only recently discovered a community of Scholars involved in games research. There are CFPs (such as this brilliant one), conference announcements, and plenty of other resources available to Scholars. Many of these explore the intersection of games and pedagogy as well.
There are a few requirements of the program but none of them are significant. If you have any questions about the program, please don’t hesitate to contact me at email@example.com.
